Since the pandemic I have loved plants. From the quite joy of watering my many plant babies to the satisfaction of seeing a new leaf unfurl, caring for plants has always felt grounding - a reminder that growth takes time, care, and patience.

But in early 2025, life handed me a reminder that time isn’t always something we can count on. After being diagnosed with cancer, I found myself reflecting on what I truly wanted out of life - what dream I had been putting off, waiting for the “right time.”

I have frequently dreamt of opening my own plant shop - a space where I could share my love of plants while promoting sustainable practices. That’s how Finn’s Foliage was born, named after my loyal lab.

At Finn’s Foliage our mission is to cultivate joy, growth and connection through the beauty of plants - all while prioritizing sustainability. As a woman- owned business, I’m committed to offering thoughtfully sourced greenery, eco-friendly product, and educational workshops to empower our community to care for their plants and our planet.

Starting as a Little Leaf Library in my hometown of Benicia and mobile plant shop, I’ll be bringing Finn’s Foliage to local markets, community events, and local businesses - meeting plant lovers where they are. I’m excited to host workshops that teach everything from seasonal arrangements to sustainable plant care practices. One day, I hope to open a brick-and-mortar shop where our community can gather, learn and grow together.

This journey is about more than just plants - it’s about embracing life fully, finding joy in small moments, and creating something meaningful. I’m so grateful for the support of family, friends, and the community as I take this leap.
