At Finn’s Foliage, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword - it’s at the heart of everything we do. When I first dreamed of opening a roaming plant boutique, I knew I wanted to build a business that not only celebrated the beauty of plants but also honored the environment the come from.
Why Sustainability Matters
I often find that big-box stores often mistreat their plants. Houseplants are living things, yet these stores frequently discard them (and their containers) the moment they lose their initial “perfect” look. Instead of nurturing these plants back to health, they’re tossed out - a heartbreaking waste of plants and resources.

Our approach to sustainability touches every part of our business.
Locally Grown & Sourced: Whenever possible, we grow our own plants to ensure they’re healthy, and hearty. For plants we can’t grow ourselves, we partner with local businesses that share our values - reducing transportation emissions and supporting our community.
The Five R’s: We proudly embrace the principles of Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, Rot, and Refuse in our operations. From repurposing containers for planting to composting organic waste, we’re mindful of minimizing what ends up on the landfill.
Organic Care for Thriving Plants: We use organic soil, fertilizers and clean products to promote strong, healthy growth without harsh chemicals. This not only benefits the plants but also protects the environment - and the people who care for them.
